Karen Chang Barr is the passionate and driven founder of Ho‘onui, a business dedicated to empowering small food business owners to succeed. Born and raised in Hawai`i, Karen is a proud local kama`aina who cares deeply about the success of her community.
Karen's love for creating things like good food, making jewelry, sewing, crocheting, and knitting led her to start Ho‘onui. She recognized the struggles that many small food business owners face and wanted to help them overcome these challenges and achieve their dreams.
